The Military University of Technology (MUT) in Warsaw is a state polytechnical school at a university level. Nowadays MUT is one of the largest universities of science and technology and the leading research centre in Poland. MUT conducts scientific research, implementation and modernisation within the scope of advanced technologies, chemistry, physics and military applications. Numerous inventions, innovations, patents and prestigious rewards both in Poland and abroad confirm the high level of scientific work. MUT cooperates with over than 60 institutes and enterprises from more than 20 countries, among them Great Britain, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, and the USA.
The Military University of Technology offers both for military and civilian students high quality undergraduate and postgraduate studies leading to Bachelor’s, Master’s and DSc degree as well as specialistic short time courses. The model of the studies, the curricula and syllabuses introduced at the University fully comply with the standards of the European Federation of National Engineering Society. Students at MUT are educated by highly qualified research and teaching staff, among them there are 93 professors, 127 associate/assistant professors and 444 doctors.
The EPOS project is implemented by research teams from three faculties in MUT: the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Faculty of Advanced Technologies and Chemistry. Research teams carry out the research work under Tasks 2, 5 and 9.
